Our Story
We have bred and shown newfoundlands for over 15 years but we grew up with newfoundlands and Cavalier King Charles spaniels. Cavaliers are an amazing breed and normally I would be against mixing two breeds but the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is well known for heart issues (SAS). Most will develop a heart murmur by 7 years old. By crossing the cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a poodle we hope to achieve exceptional health and longevity. Crossing two breeds can’t be taken lightly and we take it very seriously. Just because you cross two breeds doesn’t mean their offspring will be healthier it’s important to focus on health. Health testings are extremely important and we thoroughly test with OFA. We also genetically test with wisdom and embark.
We focus on health because we know how important your new family member is. Every breed was a mix before breed standards were put into place and each breed has their own recommended health testings. Cavaliers are well known for SAS, DM, EFS, DE, and CC while poodles are well known for IVDD/CDDY, PRA, DM, patella luxation and hip dysplasia. Which is why it’s important to health test.

Generation: F1 (51% Cavalier King Charles 49% Poodle)
Weight: Normally she is 17.5 lbs but she’s been eating the puppies hot meals and she’s gained a little weight at her last vet appointment. 11/6/25 she weighed 19.8 lbs

Loretta is a gorgeous deep red F1 cavapoo (51% Cavalier King Charles spaniel 49% Poodle). She weighs 17.5 lbs and she has heavy white markings. Loretta is very sweet and loves attention. She’s a wonderful mother and had her first litter on 8/19/25 and she has 10 gorgeous babies. 7 males 3 females (Deep Red/Blenheim/Apricot). Loretta just had a complete physical exam on 11/6/25 and our vet says she looks great after weaning her babies. Her heart and patella’s have been cleared yearly.

Loretta is our baby she loves attention and car rides. She’s an amazing mother and has helped us raise and train her babies since weaning at 8.5 weeks old. They’ve had one on one interaction with their mom throughout weaning. Loretta never actually weaned her babies we had to help wean them. She loves her babies and is very attentive to their needs.
Loretta has a sweet disposition and 75 percent of the time she’s calm and laid back but she does have a playful side with her babies. She’s loves toys, treats, and
Bones (Dental treats/nylabone/Greenies/collegen treats/bully sticks/duck pucks).
